Does anyone have experience with meal kits
I doubt it (lovingly) but figured iād ask for reviews regardless 
I need to start cooking more but iām so bad at it and might motivate myself more if i had pre-selected and pre-portioned shit idk lol

I have experience i just. donāt remember it well. it was good food & I think good cooking but i might entirely be making that up.

it varies significantly on the brand. overall they tend to be a bit less good overall then regular ingredients, but i rather guessed you suspected that
iām afraid most of us arenāt in the economical class, yes

My family used them for a bit, they were consistenly decent but nothing exceptional, once you use them for a bit itās like āok well I can just go to the store and buy thisā

It does help to having cooking skills, so you donāt have to rely on takeaway food too much. The quality of which can be questionable.

FTR I got into cooking from very little without them, mostly by asking my family/friends for recipes Iād already eaten and using those. If you donāt want to spend the money on the meal kits then that works too
My girlfriend and I actually just started making a recipe notebook so we could have them all physically

IIRC some do free trials and just getting through the free trial is probaly enough to feel decently comfortable with cooking tbhtbhtbhtbh at least for me it wasnāt long before I felt fine with arbitrary recipes

I still hate cooking large cuts of meat but tbh probably mostly because our oven seems to like omega suck? Roasting brussels sprouts takes half the time in my oven at my parentsā house. I tried to broil chicken at my apartment and it was a nightmare
Also our chicken breasts are like fucking H cups you can butterfly them and theyāre still massive
