I genuinely don’t understand the pull behind lottery tickets. Like I get aaaalllll the classic gamblng ones, I understand how casinos/sports betting/poker can be addictive and enthralling even if the odds are against you… but lottery tickets? That feels as close to throwing away money as possible, like the odds are stacked against you and already astronomical. Like if you want a quick addictive hit of something for 20 dollars just buy cigarettes

there’s a clip of someone in a club or something BEGGING the dj to play this song and when the DJ does, the crowd dies down and the DJ cuts it early and everyone starts cheering. I think about that video a lot
