there’s a very large gap between not liking somebody and hating somebody
like I doubt his father hates him, but I certainly don’t get the sense that he likes him from the statements he’s made online

well the current subject of discussion is a spat between elon and somebody who personally knows him
my point is that none of this behavior from either side is in any way new or unexpected
its just more public than usual because both people involved are highly public figures who until extremely recently had been projecting an image of being best buds

there’s a level of healthy skepticism that is reasonable to use when reading into the actions of a powerful government figure/body, and then there’s ascribing way too much credit for some really deep plan where absolutely none is due because literally all signs point to it just being exactly what it looks like on the tin

- treats me like dirt
