O.kazo is Marluna.
I think I understand the rules now⦠maybe
Guess Iāll try again
My 8 Hades 2 runs are so funny because 7 of them died in the first region while the last one made it to the final boss.
Truly is just all-or-nothing with me.
Reminds me how Iāve beaten Hades on 16 Heat with the Fists but canāt beat 0 Heat with any other weapon.
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: And all golden squares are given, so you can use negative constraints.
For example if (in Box 7 / bottom-left box) [7] were to be on row 7, then it would have had to be on golden square. Since that is not the case, [7] cannot be on R7C1, R7C2, or R7C3. The same logic applies on R9C1 (i.e., the 7th position of the box); it isnāt a golden square, so it canāt be [7].

(also probably the negative constraint would solve your X-wing, the [1] canāt be placed next to the [6] in box 5)
(Iām not 100% certain, cause I think solved the puzzle in a different way, than you)

Failed to get a purple column.
Managed to get a purple row though.

I think Iām at the same point where O.kazo got stuck now
Yeah, uh⦠at that point I can only advise you to bifurcate. (Itās either that, or do the same thing mentally in your head.)
WHAT? the cat?
I will instead be needlessly stubborn and try to figure this out without bifurcating⦠but not today.

good luck for that, I was stuck for days for the same reasonā¦
[8] on R5C8 causes [7] on R6C7, which also breaks the game. So the crux of this board appears to be why [7] on R6C7 breaks the game.
ā¦yeah, no. The fastest way I found out this breaks is when I try to fill in all golden squares, [1,3] in Box 6, and Row 6. I donāt see an easier path at the moment.
- Filling [7] in R6C7 forces [1,3] in R4C8 and R4C9.
- Since R4 has a [3], R4C6 is forced to be [6], forcing R6C6 to be [9], forcing R6C8 to be [6], forcing R5C8 to be [8].
- Box 6 is now only missing [2,5], of which the orientation could be found by negative constraint.
- [2] in Box 5 is now forced to be put in R6C5, leaving [1,3,8] in B4R6. Using sudoku, youād find the answer to be [3,1,8].
- You now have a deadlock in R8C1, as that golden square has to be both [1] and [8].
ā¦like, I donāt think thereās a way for me to do this in my head as āa mental gymnasticā.
Like, maybe I could have gone all the way to finding [2] in Box 5, but thereās absolutely no way Iād dig further than that in my pastime.
FWIW, once you learn that R6C7 canāt be [7], the game could be solved normally afterwards. The path is a bit rough, but nowhere near impossible.
