i think the v3 ending is ok. I think the bigger issue is the plot of the game, the cases themselves, and the characters tbh

I actually thought the characters (or, at least, most of the characters) were the highlight of the game.
Like, I actually had an emotional investment in the events of the story because I was invested in seeing these characters grow, which is a far cry from the first two games where I kinda didnāt care who lived or died outside the main two or three characters.

To you what are the like mechanics of the ending thoughLike what is reality (or welll what is the relation between the game and the āoutside worldā, what does it mean for them to be the āultimate real fictionā etc. do they have free will? (ignoring the possibility where Tsumugi is just lying)
Also yeah I liked most of the characters (even if many of them were annoying) & thought the cases were all very good (and thatās considering I canāt even fully engage with the mechanics of the trial b/c of my computer)

Fair enough.
My big difference point is my reaction to 2-5 versus 3-4. Like, 2-5 was a case that blew my mind while 3-4 kept me up at night thinking about it.
