To be fair here I do have substantial restraint which I simply do not talk about here because it’s not interesting to talk about restraint. Much of the time when my friends are drinking I do not drink any appreciable amount (as in, like, I will have one drink max and will feel no effects). It is only the one time when I actually made myself ill as I fucking went to a party two days after a breakup expecting my ex not to be there and they were there. That was just a scenario where I was in a very bad mood and legitimately just wnated to remove all the thoughts out of my head. Goal achieved

There were… two other times I actually got appreciably drunk besides that? And it was still solidly in the, like, normal fun no unpleasantness territory. Other than that it’s just been Nothing Substantial. It just isn’t fun to talk about restraint. That’s sooo boring
