If they binge drink, I’d say it’s pathological
seems -EV to me
emotions!
why let urself lose so easily
to yourself no less
like i just dont get it and prolly never really will tbh
end of the day if u aint hurtin anybody u do u but like I have to imagine the net good to society if people stopped all excessive drinking and drug use would be insane
emotions!
They sound like unhealthy coping strategies. When life becomes tougher what if you go overboard?
& the average person does a lot less self-reflection than you’d think
I never understood why people get themselves drunk or elevated. It seems really dumb.
i have those and i aint out here drinking until i don’t
but, and get this: they experience different emotions
real
idk bros
tl;dr make smart choices
IIRC, when people feel uncomfortable they try to not process their feelings by going on the phone. I think the same is kind of happening with alcohol.
that’s a common use case, mhm, but it doesn’t apply to every situation
For alcohol to have regular fun it’s not neccessarily suppressing your emotions. But for those that have like a strong relation to it… mayhaps
i have a condition that discourages me from drinking alcohol don’t really understand the appeal of alcohol but it’s undeniable that a lot of people are looking for immediate short term stress relief and it’s a functional outlet
drugs are a different beast because a lot of them genuinely will make you feel something
and a lot of them are also highly addictive
personally i’ve never had any interest in them because i despise the idea of degrading my own ability to function but they work
otherwise people wouldn’t be using them
anyways off-topic but my brother has a collapsed lung and is in the ER rn
