encouraging others to drink is weirdo behavior, i had a friend in college do it but at least then i can kind of understand it because everyone is young and looking to cut loose. luckily the people at my old job were understanding enough to accept “I’m just not into it” as an excuse, so i didn’t have to tell them i watched my uncle slowly destroy himself as he lost his job, his family, and eventually his life due to his alcoholism
