Anybody who thinks they never do things that sound evil is lying to themselves, I just describe my actions that way because I’m not especially caught up in needing to prove my own goodness to myself. Everybody has thoughts that can be described ungenerously in that manner, I do it to remind myself that I shouldn’t actually have my ego caught up in things like that. It’s harder to take such thoughts seriously when you describe them like a cartoon villain’s.

It’s bad when you hurt other people, if you don’t hurt other people then it doesn’t matter what you think in your head. It’s frustrating having somebody interrogate me about the Goodness Value of my statements about my thoughts
