im a sweaty tryhard (when it comes to pvp) and the only reason i picked horde is because this ability
basically the shaman lightning shield. not only does this have a 100% spellpower scaling for each ball, but
combined with this, i can easily stun people passively 
no other race than troll has access to this ability

only if you are like a sweaty tryhard then like the racials and such might make a difference. for pve its irrelevant. if you arent a sweat then no mechanical consequence, no 
you can change race anyway via donating a small amount in case you regret oyur choice

for priest specifically each race has its own unique ability which is very cool
