Honestly hot take. I donât think a town member is the 8 ball.
Think about it.
Mostly because letâs assume mafia plays for worst case scenario they would want to not have their final member be floundring to get a kill by being a solo push. So if one them had to flip wouldnât it make sense that if they are able to convince town to kill one of our own they would do it again and again and again.
But this assumes mafia plays for the worst case. Sure they can play for best case and end the game in 2 days. But I donât think an 8ball gets killed back to back if they plant it on town.
yes thats a very hot take imo. it might have strategic value and ought to be considered, but emotionally wolves selecting a wolf as d1 bomb is like resigning before the fight started. only exception is if they planned a bus. if u walk in to wolf chat with a randomized teammate and u read the setup u are more likely to go âalright lets go homie lets kill this guyâs assâ than âuhhh ⌠our ass is grass ⌠lets cut our losses and bomb one of us d1â
I donât think they would plan out a bus to have that be the end goal. Itâs more like a saftey net if they need to push it for the d1.
But this is just assuming if they are on saftey net plan.
Since if the 8ball is on da mafia. They wonât worry about pushing the 8ball execution since no town is the 8ball. Since we would be looking for people trying to get the 8 ball agenda. But if they donât have to worry about that agenda it would hide tracks.
i feel like this safety net plan is like if youâre a wolf vigilante and you holster killing the town SPK because you are afraid of town tracker in a closed setup. its strongly unrealistic imo. anyway youâre like legitimately lock town innocent child
