HOOOLY SHIT

So, like, you take May, you see if more people have ranked May higher or lower than tutuu. You take the winner of that match and compare them against all the other candidates. And whichever candidate beats every other one in a head-to-head matchup wins.

Mew

as per arrow’s impossibility theorem there’s only one possible champs voting system that doesn’t either

  • result in a possible outcome where one person beats another in the vote despite being ranked below them on every ballot
  • potentially result in “strategic voting,” where the inclusion of an unrelated person C on the ballot impacts how you rank person A compared to person B

you may ask, why not implement that system right away? and reader, that’s because the caveat is that system is dictatorial voting, where one person’s ballot is picked at random and whoever they pick wins the election

but who can say that’s not what’s happening anyway

I’m trying to decide why I like suffering

it’s encoded into your emotional interface to enjoy hardship

that’s my theory, anyways

That’s just a rephrasing of the problem statement

it’s not, really

the same reason people are gay

it could be some evolutionary stuff, if you really want to get into it

hair keeps getting in my mouth

Don’t know why evolutionary stuff hasn’t sorted that one out yet

i know that one actually

evolution evolves on a scale of “good enough for survival”

so bad things about humans that could’ve been phased out yet haven’t are deemed livable
like my hair getting in my mouth

this proves gay people are the cornerstone of society
