Also this professor WILL give you exam problems that force you to think about problems in ways you haven’t in class, it’s not a class where you can just mechanically learn the right techniques and be fine

NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I had a professor like that for DSA and DAA (algorithms / data structures classes)
Is data structures a hell nightmare class at other universities
Here they give you like 3x credit hours worth of work and everyone cries and dies badly
It definitely had more work than a typical class and some people call it a filter (especially with the professor I had) but also it’s not bad IMO (ttbhtbthbthbt I knew some about data structures before taking the class so I’m biased but nya I think a lot of the dislike is a skill issue)
