Our third roommate apparently made a bunch of money in high school (“was it six figures?” “hold on how many is six figures. Uhhh maybe”) off selling some product to some company and donated it all to charity, “okay you know effective altruism gets a bad rap and I’m not saying I endorse all of it BUT-“ kinda guy, so there’s sort of an angel and devil shoulder situation going on here
