you also can only do one to one changes. so like. if there are multiple 5’s in a column you have to change both or neither.

at times it feels as though R is designed to be maximally frustrating. but obviously it’s not, there are actual convenient things about R sometimes, there are esoteric programming languages that are so much worse. but R sucks still
