Intro to diffeq and ODEs different classes
o
my first diff eq class is just ODE
And I probably at least passed I just didn’t get a 95 which means I think I am geometrical
I’ve come to conclusion that magic stories need a coherent magic system. I think the best magic system is when magic is defined as exerting someone’s will onto an unwilling world.
Intro to diffeq = intro to diffeq
ODEs = more diffeq
ODE = ODEs
PDE = PDEs
s = 1…
why is your university like this
Anyway, why I said this, I’ve been also thinking about how teleportation would work and I think teleportation in magic stories should work via portals and not molecules randomly appearing
I was originally gonna try to explain the difference for real but this is what my brain came up with
qbreader tossup of the day: another one i suspect you don’t care enough about for me to bother pasting it line by line
ODEs goes deeper into, like, bifurcations, it’s the bifurcations class
what percentage of folers are is a bifurcation
qbreader bonus of the day (i get the first and last part but 2023 acf regs was hard even by acf regs standards)
its like a split in a road
something splitting into two parts
we covered bifurcations in ODEs. it’s like. the point where an equation goes from one type of solution to another or from one direction to another. that’s not a great explanation there are diagrams and shit
spruce budworm
oh
ok looking up some diagrams it makes sense
You have differential equation. Say it’s x’=sin(x)+a where a is some fucking number. If a is greater than 1, x’ is always positive and so all solutions are always increasing; if a is less than -1, x’ is always negative and so all solutions are always decreasing. If it’s between -1 and 1, then sometimes x’ is zero and so the solutions can approach some fixed point where x’ is 0 instead of infinity. We’re graphing how the solutions change and where the fixed points are as a varies
