He has a rule, the rule is this: if you get a call in class and your phoneâs not on silent, he gets to answer it. If HE gets a call in class and HIS phoneâs not on silent, WE get to answer it. Equality. Power to the people.
Today he gets a call, itâs not on silent, his phone rings. He brings the phone up to us (random student). A woman is speaking in Russian. Guy goes âuh, hi, this is, a student, in Professor [name]'s ODEs course, at [May University]â, and she goes âthis is a teacher at Brooklyn Techâ and then her entire class in unison goes âGOOD MORNING [May University] CLASSâ and then she hangs up

Apparently it was his daughter. Presumably this was planned. He says that this should encourage us to have children, because they are very entertaining

in an unrelated incident last year (i forget what exactly the question was about but it was cluing something that had happened like a week or two prior, if even that long ago) i wasnât able to stop the phrase âthe devil works fast but naqt writers work fasterâ from leaving my mouth before i processed that one of the schools i was staffing for was a christian private school
