not every uni has a quizbowl team. so it’s possible that no one has recommended or talked about quizbowl because it does not exist

also joining now is a little tough because you juust missed the novice season and tournaments generally get harder as the year goes on

Bughouse is chess but they added bugs
specifically this strange bug where pieces appear on the board sometimes. idk how it works

to be clear only the third parties were chess variants (the only other one i remember is atomic chess, but there might’ve been at least one more?). the townies were chess players and the mafia was bots. the game, unlike real chess, was egregiously townsided
