NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA in math you can have variables that don’t go into functions! Let epsilon be given! I’m not necessarily putting epsilon into any function but it’s still a variable

When my hair has split ends in it I ocmpulsively go through and pick out every single one of the split ends and this hurts to do (both my head and my fingers) and occupies me for much time but I cannot sotp

also you could definitely say a “this function takes 3 variables” in CS and be understood tbhtbhtbhtbhtbhtbhtbh, though it’ be more common to say “this function takes 3 parameters/arguments”

variable is an acceptable word for what goes into functions in math while also meaning other things! but if you try to use it for the same meaning in cs they kill you with hammers! how is this anything but a cs problem!

i did actually file a protest about it but they only resolve protests if they’d actually affect the outcome. and of course the odds of one bonus part actually affecting the outcome are super super low. so sad.
