Ad Vitam Aeternam (Roleplay) - Concluded

The judge looks a bit nervous at his rulings. He’s not going to be too keen to take your side anymore.

“I was… going to… see him. I wanted to talk things out, and get some of my stuff back if it didn’t work.”

“…? What exactly are these ‘stuff’ you mentioned?”

“Clothing! I have a lot of sweaters.”

“Right… and why exactly would Mr. Marscapone still have your clothing?”

“I stayed over a few times. I didn’t take everything when we broke up.”

“Right…” Arius tried to recount everything that has been said so far. “Did you encounter anyone shortly prior or after entering Mr. Marscapone’s house?”

“Yeah! There was an odd girl with a hat and tattoos who tackled me to the floor after his house was lit on fire.” She over-enthusiastically nods.

“And what happened afterwards? What did the girl do to you?”

“The police came and told me I was under arrest! They dragged us both out, and I haven’t seen her in a while.” She shrugs. “Seemed nice!”

“Interesting. Did you notice anything inside the house while you were there?”

“Not really… flames kinda make it hard to see. I don’t even remember why I ran upstairs.”

“Did you perhaps hear any sound?”

“Not really. The fire is louder than I thought it’d be.”

Violetta is listening, now.

“I’m kinda shocked the smoke detectors didn’t go off.”

“Loud…? Did you identify the source of the fire?”

“I mean, obviously. It was the stove and the portable heater. I saw them myself.”
