Some thoughts:

I had a whole discussion on this in dead chat, but yeah the anticlaim and its interaction with Soweli confused me. I didnât foresee this interaction and assumed we were simply correct on our anticlaim until I was in dead chat. I think what ended up happening (Soweli just dying) was the outcome that made for the most interesting endgame.

If Soweli had lived, the wolf team would still be able to perform the anticlaim kill (since it wouldnât be XYLO), meaning the game would have ended on D4 with either 1) a wolf win as two of the remaining town died (one to anticlaim) and Soweli won and exited the game at F4, or 2) the same outcome that happened here except town got there on their own instead of a 3P. The reason I am only 3 out of 10 salty is that I wouldnât have felt particularly good about winning the game that way.

I was probably 75% confident that Beancat was actually 3P, and this basically remained true in dead chat until I just asked. This is partly because the role cop showed Beancatâs alignment as redacted and partly because I was outplayed. This was high enough confidence for me to openwolf but not high enough confidence to out my partner or be honest about the anticlaim or wolf mechanics. Beancat did a good job of raising this confidence level by feeding into my preconceived biases regarding the setup and having a story down.

I probably should have added Chomps to the neighborhood and not Leafia. This was intended to hedge my bets on the two-kill night that ended up happening, which would have left 3P!Beancat forced to townside in order to win. In the moment I was going for hype moments and aura over safe play boooooo.

My goal if the game was not over (since if the game was not over it meant I was 100% dying) was to cause as much confusion as possible with peopleâs social reads. This seemed to work for dead chat â who were very split on who the wolf pair was â and less so for the living players. Had town not quickhammered, they probably would have solved D3 by POE if Gummy claimed.

Kiirumaâs role was definitely a standout for me as far as creativity goes. Having a sure shot on every ability made for an interesting game state, and having a town investigation ability disguised in a message is clever. Shit couldâve gotten out of hand if he didnât die D1, though.

Admittedly I didnât think to ask this because I tend to think about targeting in actions as equivalent to âvisitingâ in ToS and it felt like trying robbing a bank with finger guns

Congratulations on the win. I did not follow anything outside of Final 3 especially closely, but from what I saw, it was good decision-making from the villagers involved, and a good catch on Chompsâ logic behind reads not making sense.
