Are you smarter then a Fourm user? (11)

I’ll give you an epik math question

Prove or disprove the following

Every even number (greater than two) is the sum of two primes.

Oh no, its a proof question.

Anyways, that false because if you take 17, you won’t find any sum that contains only prime numbers.

That is a wisdom question you can look up.
Not questions I give.

… if you can’t look it up it means you can’t understand it enough to look it up
which is a bad thing

this is true because I googled it and google said it was true

It’s a good thing it means I beat bots and they admit it!

Look if the answer is indeed correct then I’m right and it’s a good thing.

If anyone ever disagrees with any answer here I can explain how it is true:

… because you can’t understand the question?

and if at any point you do you can just look that up

It’s not actually

There have been supercomputers that have proven it for very high numbers but it has never been proven/disproven to work for every even number (greater than two) ever.

@Lucky

I did not look up any of the questions so far.

States of matter where part of discussion in my work (I work in research centre), same as stuff like how to cut DNA into smaller parts and connect them back together to create some new species.

Those are things which I do know.
And you straightforward going about “but they didn’t teach me it in school” is bit of insulting when denying my answer.

Maybe if I didn’t work for reaserch centre. But I straightforward had research project about it to go through… 3 months ago or so?

Calling this “expecting to easilly look up questions” is insulting.

My dumb ass thought hepta was associated with nine and had plane as an answer

Shows how much I can’t read Imao

honestly tho, intelligence and wisdom is hard to differientiate because they are always applied to a solution. The only difference is wisdom is based on experience and information while intelligence using what you have in order to come to a solution.

The easiest example would be Jane’s question. If you are using pure intelligence, you can try every even example and see if it fails and if you are using wisdom, you can refer to a list of shortcuts (or in academic terms, theorems) to avoid brute forcing. Heck, you may end up finding shortcuts on your own and you could say its intelligences.

I think the most important thing is that we should stop caring about whether you can google the answers or not because in the end, it may as well be trivia. Also, prepare the question properly so we don’t have stuff like the shape question or the ball question (seriously, no one plays with marbles where I am).

Ok so I have a complaint on a question and I have the clever response to it rather then the dumb “oh look at me I have the knowledge to count response”

Why is 10 afraid of 7?
“Smart” answer: 7, 8, 9

Clever answer that’s better:
Before it, 7 ate 9.

Get it.
Before 10 is 7.
8 can also be said as “ate” but different things.
7 eating 9 is a reason of which 10 would be afraid.
