You can work colour into tags, in an albeit finicky fashion. Here’s an example I worked into a signup character sheet for a roleplay / misc game I never got around to finalising… I should probably get back to that…

Why not just go simply digital?
(Sadly that one isn’t free as far as I am aware.)
FoL games tend to be more accessible to getting the players on this site into playing with each other is the easiest reason why I’d say.
