genuninly would be an awesome set up change for a rogue omg
i dont think i ever understood the scope of the eodinai till like after this game.
I think eodinai tends to be a character you need to see to realize āholy shit so thats what it doesā
ā¦and also so you can then, as evil, pull the most ridiculous bluffs imaginable.
genuinely curious to play this script again.
if it is redone somewhere ping me and would be happy to join
Eodinai looks like the āST is having funā one, and to be fair, Iāve seen games turn into disasters because of that, but for me all of the Demons are the one I have fun running. Even you, Novomane, I guess.
that game was so fucking funny lmao
yeah youād be surprised. Thereās another version of Rogue that only gives evil a ping after a while and Iāve played a game where good just fully lost because of that. Switching out of a claim isnāt that suspicious (esp since good isnāt rushing to claim), knowing 3 in play good characters is quite strong, and having the entire evil team in what are essentially Invest pings isnāt that bad? I think most Rogue games I figured out it was a Rogue game, but iirc itās winrate is about 50/50 and I havenāt seen an evil team justā¦not take the bluffs early game.
oh for certain. I think almost everyone at apoc (or at the very least, me) would rather a Curacao that encourages lying enough to make Rogue work rather than a Curacao without Rogue. I could go either way on it giving a ping tho, it makes it less powerful but evil usually shouldnāt need a ping to solve for Rogue tbh. In this game, with Mistyās public claim and Carbo dying n2 evil wouldāve had strong reason to believe Rogue at around the same stage in the game ping or no
yeah, 3 in play characters are just so many Iāve never seen a Rogueās cover last for very long outside of that Legion game which didnāt even have a Rogue and like, I think everyone there agreed it was the best game of Curacao so far.
Eodinai is such a strange creature lmao. On the one hand it looks so stupid, but on a broader sense, like, it breaks some very fundamental rules of the game. Primarily, it breaks the idea that the game will ever be even close to mechanically hardsolvable.
Curacao as a script is kind of just getting your ass beat by all the various "wtf!?"s on this script until you eventually understand the proper level of anxiety you should be having about everything happening itās so great lmao.
i can see this being on the same vibes as āFace your fearsā where there is alot of possibilitys and reactions which you can easily learn the longer you play it
Maybe weāll see SNV + Fibbin + Big Wig or NWC + F.I.B.B.I.N as next BoTF.
