I’m looking for novo exploits
the mechanical effect is that a Minion becomes the flagbearer and the Demon isn’t anymore
Since you kill a minion instead but
Ye
the social implication is that the evil team needs to work to figure out who the fuck is actually the flagbearer
ohhhh
okay i thought minion info came after demon info
How does this work with novo
If you mechanically register as the demon to the game becoming the flag bearer shouldn’t that override registering as falsely to townsfolk?
The good team still cannot win except by resignation, so the evil team does not need to worry about it.
It has minor mech implications (the Minion pings as Demon to Prince, can be turned good by the Ritualist, etc) but that’s it
(aka yeah it does it just doesn’t actually matter)
The story teller could register them as the demon to a Ritualist, if the game thinks they are no longer a demon, as that would be false right?
i Guess
mmmmmm
as per Revolutionary precedent the Novomane’s character & alignment register falsely so the ritualist reads them as good > attempts to turn them evil > they’re already evil so nothing happens
if not every part of their registration has to be false you could make them register as a good demon to ritualsit in general, but it just swaps them right back to evil
i also don’t think ritualist actually checks for alignment in the first place, only demonhood, so since it’s only checking in one dimension it still has to be false, but
im also not the script maker so
(tbc the intended reading is they are not “the Demon” so just do not get converted but novo misreg is weird man)
i also think if you swap novo that way you’re stupid
What’s the revolutionary precedent
you can swap the minion for the same effect anyways its literally fine
okay but a novo in f3 saying they are good because of this absurd ruling is an amazing game ender
