Hahah this is a nonbo. We dont want these two together because 3 of the totems will deal 0 damage. We want only 1 of these. Maybe we take totemic call and leave keeping the score for the enemies
(nonbo means non-combo i dont wanna assume its common knowledge maybe it is but i dunno)
Hmm do you think the game breaks if the boss gets Keeping the Score on Average or you reckon its fine?
i’m too tired to think properly but if it would break the game i’ll probably just let the boss drop the power/not take it
if it already has it i won’t let it drop it ofc but
though tbf the king in binds functionally doesn’t exist until he enters, nor do his powers
so
What does the power does, if the boss takes it:
Summary
Does nothing (I think). it has no ally to defend.
Heals 45 Health in the flow of 9 rounds.
extra damage, increased each round. Although capped out after 5 rounds. (not counting shield.)
Heals 10. (multiple times, if it gets lucky on the roll.)
Depending on the context, it’s either quite detrimental for the boss, or does nothing.
Does nothing, we already want all of our single target attacks onto the boss.
Does nothing. (Same reason as for the Tank.)
Reevalutes all other power I said it does nothing due to lack of allies. (and grants powerful effects to the boss, I think)
Turns boss’s simple basic damage into continous damage.
I don’t know, how this interacts with boss…
Does nothing. (no allies.)
40 unblockable damage, once the boss plays. (i think unblockable means it won’t be reduced via Bandage.)
Does nothing/one dead Servant becomes the Damsel.
It can gain an ability we purposely taken away from the Boss. (Via Servant copying Hero’s ability.) Also it would lose his other abilities? (like Bandage, which at the moment is in our favour, tbh.)
It’s too vague of an ability… So I’m uncertain what the Boss would do with it.
Does nothing. (no allies.)
Does nothing. (no allies.)
Does nothing. (no alive allies.)
Extra 40 damage for 10 energy. (I think)
Does nothing (no allies)
Boss can Parrry.
Does nothing (no alive allies.)
does nothing. (No allies, can’t self-target.)
Does nothing. (no allies.)
It can gain an ability we purposely taken away from the Boss. (Via Servant copying Hero’s ability.)
Boss can parry, (but not attack/use other powers at the same time.)
That’s a surprisingly lot of “it does nothing.”
oh yea tbc if a servant got this power i would entrust kyo with the secret info and flavor writing shit
it would not lose its powers listed in the main post
those basically count as boss-inherent mechanics
this is my justification for letting them take effect before the king enters
Right, Should someone take only the Hot Potato, so one Servant has to copy that, (and we can kill two Servant’s for the cost of 1), or we think we really can mow down those servants in 1 round?
if the game is over but would take a while longer due to Bandages i’ll also just shortcut it and have the boss surrender
(just to prevent it from taking too long for no reason)
I think we should take totemic call, since it combo well with resource distribution, damage transferrence and power friendship, while keeping the score doesn’t really have nice combos beside the basic attack.
If this is used alongside Taunt for the Boss, would it work like this:
- Boss attacks 9 players for 30 with Basic Attack
- Player uses Taunt and Revenge on Boss
- Player gets 270 incoming damage
- Boss gets 405 incoming damage
Or, does the Boss get 45 incoming damage? (Only from the original 30)
I like to use the therm of “anti-combo” or if in a more sophisticated milieu the therm “anti-sinergy/asinergy.”
these are the most common TCG terms for this kind of thing, I think.
(there is a bit of marginal difference between anticombo and antisinergy, but I never bother remembering the difference, and most people use them interchangably anyway…)
This is a combo between these 3 abilities, needs to be put on 2 or 3 players. Can make any 2 power combo from abilities belonging to dead allies (such as Taunt + Revenge in case it deals 405 in the above example). So a second Backup of sorts
tbthbthtb I probably dont have time to do this before thursday evening
If you fine with it, we can designate build sets. and everyone chooses one, which they like.
I think three of us (Atlas/tutu/me) can come up with something in a few days.
But we definetly want to hear the other player’s opinions as well.
Damn the king in binds is stronk, also fun 2 phase boss battle…and limbus company… also that bandages effects seems like it’ll probably be to our favor
Literally just the monty hall problem amazing
I think this is prolly a good solution (and we can try to figure out what powers go well together and stuff)
