BOTC/BOTF Discussion Thread 2

Helo - I finished my studies so im officially unemployed with more time to make questionable botc scripts on the new tool.

I like scripts that arent too spicy or crazy (hence name) but have some interesting stuff going on. there is some neighour stuff going on, madness package and a few escape routes for demon. Ongoing townfolk are quite strong but recluse/drunk/spy/mario can mess with them and also 2/3 demon have outsider mod so id put more outsiders in bag at start if worried.

also idk if alsahaiir is too good on a LoT script cuz it can probably close those worlds super fast?

This is my second attempt at one i made ages ago what do u guys think about everything

There isn’t much which can proc the Mathematician, tbh.
as far I see, only No Dashi (and spy/recluse occasionaly)
The other poisoned info are self-poisons, so they won’t proc Math.

If you ever see a 2 as a Math, it’s almost garantued to be a No dashi game.
(I think Acrobat (the townsfolk) might be a better drunk/poison detector on this script in particular. It can’t catch a recluse misregister, but works on everything else, the Math could see, also on more.)

Does a drunk VI getting wrong info count to mathemetician? i thought it did but not sure

i forgot marionette didnt count for mathemtician though, maybe spy/recluse isn’t enough to confuse No Dashi worlds

No, VI being drunk is the VI’s ability, so it won’t proc Math.

(ofc, if VI gets wrong result cuz of recluse/spy while being sober, that would proc the Math number.)

Check the jinxes on them, they… sometimes do

“The Mathematician might learn if the Marionette’s ability yielded false info or failed to work properly.”

Fact it is arbitrary makes mathemtician soo much worse wtf i hate that

It actually doesn’t that much! If you get a number you know it can be the marionniete working or not!

Like a 1 could mean the Mario malfunctioned, a zero doesn’t tell you anything

What next BoTF needs is the Tor Loric. Best Loric ever.

Zenomancer (Loric) - One or more players each have a goal. When achieved, that player learns a piece of true info.

huh

botcu has immediately delved into whether zenomancer allows you to break the law

chat, what do you think?

imo it’s not a game rules violation to do something that breaks the law to fulfill a Zeno task, but you might still be arrested for it
