other nerdy things about the art
cecilia and aliena’s color palettes and markings match (and also share a significant overlap with frederic’s), but in their demon forms the spirals on cecilia’s hand go the opposite direction to aliena’s
even though she was doppelganger, the art was drawn as if she was cerenovus because i couldnt think of any good ideas for a doppelganger art that wouldnt make it obvious to the other minions at rand that she was doppelganger (hence the focus on dreams, the dream catchers, and the night sky)
all blackrose family members also wear a rose somewhere (cecilia in her hair, aliena on their lapel, frederic as his brooch)
the runes on renee’s neck thing (idk wht the name is) are latin calligraphy for a bible verse that is written around the edge of one of the magic circles from the greater key of solomon (renaissance book of ritual magic or something)
she’s holding a blooming violet because (as pit hag) her magic is associated with transitions and change
also as mtf trans, she’s significantly more feminine in demon form than in her human form
phebe is wearing a traditionally male style of kimono i think, idk that much about japanese culture but that’s what i was trying for
she and orlando, as the only roles that can kill, are also the only ones actively brandishing weapons

there were no hints towards roles in the human arts because those were drawn beforehand and randed afterwards
there were also no hints to the particular demon that phebe was because lol
but theoretically looking at the minion arts one could have angleshot cerenovus!cecilia, pithag!renee, and witch!orlando
and i didnt care that much because the cultists all knew all of that d1 anyways
