OFFICIALLY the us stayed neutral so i guess it’s not correct that that war led to the death of american isolationism but it was this huge talking point at the time whether or not they should intervene

It would affect all Australians or residents of Australia, thereby impacting anyone who directly or indirectly interacts with Australians. In an immediate sense, it means this lizards game would presumably not run. If this change occurs retroactively, it means the ANZAC fleet of 1915 wouldn’t have captured Istanbul and so fate would’ve unravelled very differently. If you don’t count such “obvious” impacts, the butterfly effect would cause a number of Australian-developed technologies or inventions to be created far later or not at all, and it’s not as though a surplus of alternatives would’ve appeared in their place.
