At the very least it was grandstandingly spectacular. It twisted my perception of Philo!Outsiders having Townsfolk utility entirely.

also I think realistically Kyubey doesn’t work outside of w!Hippo worlds
considering they otherwise have a very easy path of leading the entire game to view Hippo as evil, and solve incorrectly around that, which typically wins evil a lot of botc games

In such a world O.kazo never contacted the Demon (which applies in most worlds as is), and so thusly cited you as an entirely random set of characters just to your detriment. After presumably seeing a Shugenja, it’d theoretically make sense if O.kazo thought you were pointing at the Demon (Jarek/Silviu) and so thusly just made up a check. In an isolated framework.

This does make me ponder as to why Zug pointed TOWARDS their demon. Though everyone alive seemed rather passive towards Kiiruma these days.
