I wasn’t intending on being here tonight, yet forces begging belief have impelled speech because a rather blatant contravention has been taking place here. Icet has been misrepresenting his own behaviours in recent memory, claiming to have both advocated for his own execution when indeed the barest acceptance of such was given; and to have claimed Ogre publicly, which may or may not have occurred I can’t quite recall.
I was running numbers earlier and it seemed stringent for an Ogre to be claiming Townsfolk without a Xaan modification, although given the contradiction within Hazard’s information (warning of Xaan on N2, only sober if Zone is the evil ping and all Outsiders are real), might we just assume there is no Xaan? Which might mechanically work but seems strange given the pattern of HP checks, in particular Jarek and Hippo when neither had publicly claimed. It just feels sober, and it can’t be Boffin with Xaan, so I’d like to just pretend it’s Poisoner/Vigormortis or just everything is sober or whatever?
If it’s Vigormortis, Icet is unlikely to be Chomps’ Ogre if both are good-aligned, which is the only case wherein Icet might wish to share a truthful claim presuming Chomps wasn’t vague over alignment. Entailing this world, Jarek would necessarily be the singular Noble alert, equalling one/two arbitrary Outsiders via Balloonist — and the Demon would reside within Hippo / Kiiruma / Leafia.
However, the kills abide by Lil’ Monsta tracing more so than Vigormortis, in particular “confirming” Noble and Fisherman information which I’d imagine would otherwise prove ideal to frame. In this particular world I’m forced to conclude Hazard’s advice doesn’t point towards N2 Xaan since it doesn’t seem possible. I’d think Poisoner / N3 Xaan in that case? In which case Jarek is good, Hippo and Icet aren’t Minions and either Kiiruma / Leafia is?
Leafia hardclaiming immediately in public is far less bluffless-coded than Kiiruma staying tight lipped forever, to be earnest, but I would feel much more inclined to wager w!Chomps over w!Zone given the latter’s ideal information. Perhaps there’s no Xaan at all, it’s a Poisoner / Boffin granting the HP ability to Zone, Hazard’s advice is either misunderstood or poisoned, and the evil team consists of Zone / Kiiruma; but much more intuitively I just think the Ogre claim is misleading and cover to substantiate Chomps and Icet’s partnership whilst concealing the latter’s lack of an open claim for a while. I think this works because Chomps’ pings sorta protect Icet as well; and since Chomps never rewhispered Icet later as if to say “I believe you now” instead of claiming pings and ominously remarking such and all, it feels performative. That’s my predominant sensation but it also doesn’t matter what I think as I am deceased. Have a good night everyone good luck see you in the morning —!
