good players have much a reason as evil players to lie and evil players arguably have less reason to change claims given they have bluffs.

As evil ogre I just lie and boom you have 3 players spreading misinformation and it becomes much harder to solve for evil ogre worlds

I disagree - in a chomps town and xaan 3 world, storytellers would 1000% show me and you as different types last night. This would put our worlds hard against each other, esp after yesterday, and basically guarantee the only executions in the game would be me and chomps.
So much so that the other reason they might not have done this would that it would have been SO overpowered and basically ended the game for an evil win. But i think theyre always meant to use poison to help evil as much as possible so i doubt thats the case.
Either Chomps is Xaan or there is no Xaan.

I disagree because as ogre you dont know ur alignment and if u claim ogre to someone they dont know if ur lying and baiting them so they arent gonna claim evil immediately to you. I claimed to be magnus and chomps’ ogre to them too.
So as an ogre you might claim good ogre genuinely believing it until a later date.
You had 2 whispers with them on different days so if chomps is evil they probably would only have told you in second whisper - by which point youd already claimed ogre so couldnt retrace.

I think this makes the most sense to me.
Zone hitting two outsiders back to back doesnt make him good but makes me believe he has the ability. So chomps is arguably the only possible xaan player. And is also the reason why there is a +1 outsider in a non xaan game

There is a world where chomps is ogre who role swapped with the person he chose. IceT and iceT is actually the evil minion. But it would mean Mag/Zone/Jarek has to have an evil in it as well
