in a meta where itâs fucking impossible to reliably determine whether the opponent can put you at under half heath, an ability that cripples you when youâre under half health is really bad!
itâs not as bad as slow start or truant, which are about as cheeks as you would expect them to be (albeit mons with good special attacks donât care as much about slow start) but
i did once make my opponent forfeit and bemoan how they couldnât defeat my rock blast gigalith (it had truant and i just switched it out every other turn) once so. sometimes itâs just about the illusion of strength where you have none
