I can certificate that it s just as you say
Walter White should have used combustion bending to defeat Super Gus
powered by the apocalypse, itâs basically a name for a broad class of TTRPGs (compare âd20 systemâ for games like D&D, Pathfinder, etc.)
PBTA games tend to run more on ~vibes/what makes logical sense and less on having Strict Rules For Every Possible Situation
they deleted the link and getting the actual book is fifty dollars
We truly live in a society.

i forgot how much you can take before youâre down for the count but fatigue is basically hp and 6 fatigue is like if you quickdrew a revolver on the bbeg
PCs have 5 fatigue slots by default, but arenât automatically knocked out when they reach 5 fatigue (they can mark conditions to stay in the fight until they run out of conditions to mark), NPCs explicitly donât follow the same rules as PCs
I just read on Reddit on how a guy scored 299.5
For bowling
He broke the pin in half and the officials didnât know what that meant and they noticed half of it was knocked down so .5!

so like, the ATLA ttrpg does have rules for lots of specialized techniques, but then thereâs also:
which can apply to anything from smacking someone with a blast of fire to punching them to making rocks fly in their face, and uses the same rules either way
found it
NPCs top out at 10 fatigue
i need to go find my favorite ability hold on
from a numerical perspective PBTAs (including the ATLA one) typically have you resolve rolls by rolling 2d6 +/- some modifier (relatively small), with 2-6 being a failure, 7-9 being some sort of mixed success, and 10+ being a full success
in contrast with e.g. D&D, where youâre equally likely to roll a 1 on a d20 as a 10 as a 20
