I can’t 100% keep up with all the words in both conversations, but that’s true of any given conversation, given I’m always multitasking in there anyway. I can do it well enough to like, give responses to either

MASSIVE L

i’m a big fan of hard multiple choice math tests. because it allows me to forget how to do things while still deriving the right answer from other nonsense (note that only standardized-ish tests are like this)

If you guess randomly you’ll get a 12.5%

i took a sample one recently. completely forgot how to do implicit differentiation (turned out i was doing it right but i actually just completely forgot the product rule). just plugged in the two surrounding integer y values, got the x values for those, and picked the most reasonable derivative based off of that data. i was right

there was another one with a gross looking integral but it was negative some value to some other value. just intuited ā€œyeah this is probably odd and that’s easier than actually doing the integral.ā€ guessed 0. i was right

oh is it like 3 statements and the options are ā€œa and b is trueā€ or ā€œc is trueā€ and the like

Everybody begs for the test to be more open-response becuase people consistently do way better on the open-response than the multiple-choice
