when I was a kid (like, pre-high-school, they basically stopped doing this in high school and honestly kind of stopped in middle school) my parents restricted how much time I used the internet for, but basically didn’t restrict what I used it for
well I guess Mom did tell me that if I wanted to use FFN to find fanfic I needed to filter out stories that were rated Mature? but like she didn’t tell me not to go use FFN to find random stories
I remember growing up and mobile phones had just started to become a trend for teenagers. And really only if your parents had decent money. When I was young, it was mostly every kid carrying a gameboy around.
I bet it was hard for parents to really grasp kids having internet access 24/7
can i use your pfp but properly centered
It’s not like eight year olds don’t tell each other much worse stories than the gorey copypastas people’d send on the Howrse Dot Com forums
but sure the scroinkly

I used to play Call of Duty till 2-3am and my mom would scream at me whenever she heard me giving callouts

they’d still shut it off if they could btw
I played so many videos games, that I would fall asleep in summer school, that I was forced to attend because I slept in regular school
