Itâs not even the part where youâre not eating. At first you just feel weird and sharp and kind of dizzy and like. Fake energy. Like caffeine. And then once that runs out youâre tired as fuck and canât get out of bed. These things are pleasant and unpleasant but theyâre not the bad part.
The bad part is starting to eat like any reasonable amount after itâs gotten bad enough that you canât move anymore. After too long on an empty stomach eating more than like a couple crumbs will make you violently ill. And you have to work your way up to a normal amount of food and if you make even one misstep itâs terrible
I mean after not eating for long enough all the normal signs of hunger just vanish

So itâs hard to judge what is ânot being hungryâ and what is insufficient eating

I have an unusually small appetite and an unusually bad reaction to overeating so I get it BAD
Itâs like when you have a stomach flu and you have to kind of work your way up to eating again. At the tail end of it the problem isnât the nausea, itâs that youâve spent ages not eating and now you have to start again

But yeah uh not eating enough was a useful lesson in why to never do that to myself ever again. I canât stop you from anything but be careful
If youâre eating sufficiently under what you need to function, your body just shuts off functions! Like movement!

To be fair I stopped my own physical exercises, I will start today!!! You better do too, I will keep bothering you about it as youâre in most need of it!!

Caffeine is a tool to be utilized when necessary. I need it kind of often, but my work schedule also forces me to stay up 20-30 hours 2-3 times per week. 90% of people should not be using caffeine like I do.
I work mostly overnights but I have to work every monday morning when we receive our frozen and dry product delivery from the warehouse as I am the only loyal worker capable of all that lifting physically (~1,000 packages averaging 30lb apiece)
I work Saturday night and then am always off Sundays, but Sundays I donate platelets at the red cross early in the morning and then have to buy groceries. Mondayâs always a long day that starts by 3am and lasts until 10pm when I get home from my weekly board game meetup. Then I go on a marathon Monday night and have to stay up to get back onto vampire mode to run tuesday overnight shift. My other off day later in the week I also need to stay up for to take care of any sort of appointments with my therapist or otherwise as thatâs the only day Iâm awake for the business day.
