The director based Bonnie off his own daughter in Toy Story 4, rather than maintaining her characterisation. This would be less of a big deal if it wasn’t significantly important multiple times over.
(Preferring Jessie to Woodie, leaving things behind, etcetera.)
Bonnie has never forgotten something before TS4, and even in that movie it’s inconsistent.
