i think i’m a special case
And I mean I accidentally self hammered in the latter game but that was funny
no lol
This was when I had like months of experince so I was like cool guess that was normal
i am either insanely lucky or the human embodiment of murphy’s law there is no buffer
the last dm game in our circuit for a long while was a senate themed one where the republicans had majority in 2023 (already outdated womp womp). so all the vts were different senators but they all had the commonality in their roletext “in terms of abilities, you have no abilities. At least you’re not a Democrat!” This was not made public. naturally , all the vts got this coaxed out of them and got confirmed for it, and mafia who tried to claim vt got owned for not knowing it
there was that time i was killed by 5% proc penta ITA
this, of course, creates a balance problem when the vts, roles that are specifically created to not be confirmable, are all confirmed. this was only one problem with the game but i think that game made it clear that we were too good to allow dms anymore
I once survived 8 ITAs then died to a coinflip but that was mostly just funny
dont forget the fact you had a bpv
it’s usually against the rules to claim detailed flavor for this reason
I should play more mafia but every time I do I die inside so I’ll stick with botc for now
it didn’t help very much
The last non cancelled DM game I played was open setup and had a Role Deception, meaning one TPR was fake. All of the mafia but the Deception died, and people thought there was no way any of the remaining PRs were it, so they briefly became convinced the Role Deception was actually imitating a VT,
This would be beneficial for mafia exclusively in the exact scenario that played out where all the non-Deception wolves died and so the VT claims got confirmed.
Somehow town managed a 3-way tie, one of which was the last wolf, and the rand hit the wolf, so everybody was spared the suffering of listen to epople conspiracypost about VT deception
Turns out the deception was just, randomly rolled from within the available PRs at the start of the game. It was the doctor.
this game was very politically unbiased! you can tell because the town nightskipper read green eggs and ham and the mafia dayskipper got a drug dealer to distribute crack to congress
once i had a game where the scum team thought i was cheating bc they didnt see me visit when I redchecked them twice. They were roleblocked. Zorvo carried them to a victory
