When I was like 11 years old I went to a private STEM school. In 6th grade. It was an hour away (I swapped back to public school halfway through the year because of it) and crucially it was very very very liberal. Like. This is Massachusetts, first of all, extremely liberal, it’s in a city, liberal, it’s a STEM-focused school, genuinely there was one guy there who had conservative parents and NOBODY else

And you all know what the outcome of the 2016 election was. And it was genuinely the most collectively depressed day ever. The teachers were all reassuring us like it’s okay it’s four years it’s not gonna be the end of the world but even they didn’t really believe it

bulgarian and literature
english
russian
biology
physics
chemistry
history
geography
IT
music
drawing
PE
swapped between Psychology and Philosophy

not all at once some fell off in certain years

They weren’t supposed to talk about politics but it was like such a Really Big Deal that they did that day in conversation with students. Like they didn’t come up during classes and say it in the lessons or anythin gbut
