No. It does not mean the inverse is true either. The insight is finding an instance of something does not make it representative of a larger sample. We can say IQ tests are bullshit easily because we have mountains of evidence demonstrating their limitations and flaws and biases. Saying that an ADHD test is wrong because you personally think it’s wrong doesn’t actually mean it’s wrong. ADHD is a diagnosis with criteria and the test evaluates a person seeing if they meet that criteria. It can both be true that a person passes the test (meets the criteria) but doesn’t have the same problems or need the same help as other people with ADHD and doesn’t see the diagnosis as valid or useful, but it’s likely that they still at least met the criteria.
