i had a bad nail biting habit and the stuff you put on your fingers as a kid that tastes really bad stopped working because i got used to the taste

my brain operates in a way that makes it so if i had something fragile that looked nice i wouldn’t want it to get ruined so i decided to see if painting my nails would stop me from biting them. and it kinda worked? they just gotta last

this was like 2 years ago and i still do it occasionally
mostly blacks, purples, greens. i’m the joker baby
