Itā€™s almost certainly localised to the game then rather than anything to do with your wider connection

hardness typically refers to resistance to surface indentation or scratches which is not what youā€™re trying to describe here

i guess in laymanā€™s terms the opposite of flexible is rigid. if your nails were brittle then they would fracture easily, like glass

in your original post you said ā€œstrong and hard and brittleā€ which is oxymoronic because strength refers to a materialā€™s ability to withstand a load without deforming or fracturing, and brittle materials fracture easily. your nails also arenā€™t hard because they can be scratched easily lol

Btw, you technically arenā€™t even cutting, but picking your nails in these scenarios. It is an unhealthy behaviour, (at least a lot of doctor says this), but Iā€™m doing the same, although I am usually using my index finger instead of my middle finger.

Itā€™s much faster and cheaper than using scissors/clippers.

Also it doesnā€™t matter how weak/strong your nails are, itā€™s only a question of technique, anyone can do this, with a very little practice. (But I dont suggest to take this unhealthy habit.)
