ok Iā€™m sorry if this is a stupid question but how does it take you ten days to read A Modest Proposal? itā€™s 3376 words long. I know some people are slow readers but (for native English speakers) even if you read one word a second (which would be shockingly slow!) you could finish it in under an hour
