I think it has something to do with making no number have a unique prime factorization anymore. Like 2 = 2 ā¢ 1, 2 = 2 ā¢ 1 ā¢ 1, etc.

The thing I didnāt like about the test is that it, likeā¦ itās probably cause itās on my mind, but it kind ofā¦ has the feeling that it assumes that skeptics donāt believe in magic because they hate magic, or that people who dislike/distrust authority are, like, rejecting something objectively superior to them, I guess?

another explanation is that 1 is a unit (ie a natural number/integer with a multiplicative inverse), and units are automatically excluded from being prime (hence why prime doesnāt even make sense as a concept in the reals, where every nonzero number has a multiplicative inverse)

It is not something I take into account until I end up in a dark alleyway or room or something, at which point I expect them to carry a murderer into stabbing distance of me.

Anyway Iām not like mad Iām happy I get an opportunity to thinka bout this. It illustrates. Like. A difference in thought I have with other people. There are many other people who believe that evidence for the possibility of magic or ghosts or religion exists, and so conceive of me as a Denier, somebody who would Deny the existence of these things even if there were overwhelming evidence. But thatās, like, not true of me! I donāt broadly Hate Magic or Donāt Want It To Exist I just do not find the evidence that they are presenting at all convincing!
