We use the comma for a decimal separator (β18,25β). Americans and british use the point (β18.25β). We use the point to multiply (β12 . 15 == 12 times 15β). What symbol do you use for multiplication? * Or x or do you also use . ?

I use * when typing and dot or concatenation or Γ when writing. All used. Γ is the canonical Multiplication Sign that grade schoolers use and the rest are just like alternatives

I use 3γ»4 = 12 for speed, though I use 3 x 4 = 12 when Iβm emphasizing legibility.
I only use asterisks when Iβm coding.
