Cookie Thread Act 8: The Death of Batman and Superman

I love these punks. I just entered the world of PokΓ©mon masters. Those two were bothering cynthia and a girl. They refused to fight because their pokemon needed resting. So the protagonist came to the rescue and challenged them. And then the thugs said this

We use the comma for a decimal separator (β€œ18,25”). Americans and british use the point (β€œ18.25”). We use the point to multiply (β€œ12 . 15 == 12 times 15”). What symbol do you use for multiplication? * Or x or do you also use . ?

I use * when typing and dot or concatenation or Γ— when writing. All used. Γ— is the canonical Multiplication Sign that grade schoolers use and the rest are just like alternatives

I use 3・4 = 12 for speed, though I use 3 x 4 = 12 when I’m emphasizing legibility.
I only use asterisks when I’m coding.
