i got outer wilds which turns out to be a perfect game for someone who can get really sucked into video games, because after about an hour of playtime, i literally cannot continue playing (motion sickness)

Some of my friends mentioned they were really surprised I dated them for the opposite reason, “because you’re like so chill and [they’re], like, the opposite”, cause they really didn’t like collar person. It’s a weird breakup dynamic

i can’t tell you anything about outer wilds. learning about extreme nausea is part of the gameplay experience.

They are, like, annoying. They’re condescending, they think they know a lot about science (and specifically physics) and they really don’t, they’ve got terrible grades which they attribute to their depression but that’s, uh, not the only source. And they’ll try to explain things to you and be completely wrong and interrupt you and talk over you. Not a gendered thing, it’s my male friends who have noted this, but it’s the kind of thing one would call “mansplaining”. Their personality Kind Of Sucks. I don’t mind people of this nature as much as the average person because I’m peaceful-minded and also it just comes across as social incompetence to me rather than malice. But it did mean that I didn’t really have a ton of genuine respect for them, I didn’t have any admiration for them. My friends thought I broke up with them.

she also definitely tended towards being a contrarian for whatever reason and would then stick by it. The situation that really bothered me was a close friend of mine having problems with her rooommate and basically being like “Im worried that this will ruin our friendship”. and everyone was like “no, them being upset at roommate things doesn’t mean they want to end the friendship”. except for this one bitch.
she was like “yeah actually i think this means your friendship is over” and I was like “how could you possibly extrapolate that” and she said something slightly snarky to me and so I said something along the lines of “nobody asked you this isnt about you please shut the fuck up”. i apologized later but i did not mean it
