technically yes and no. its a grey area. they are allowed to advertise but the goverment “Reportedly” “can not confirm” “i am not a reliable source” “i could have been lied too” paid for it rather then the broadcasters which i believe IS against the rules

if israel won: a) countries would withdraw, and that would not go well at all. would also end esc. b) countries don’t withdraw, public gets mad, would not go well, also would end esc.

however ebu can’t ban israel because 1) sponsorship 2) they need kan to be a free broadcaster 3) would also face backlash. but this one would happen no matter what the decision.
