colleges be like “statistical literacy is important to your everyday life as a thinker so we’re making every student take a mandatory stat class” and then give that class the most boring passionless inexperienced professor possible

I like how they have different stat classes for all the majors at my school idk if its elsewhere. like business stats and psychology stats are both pretty easy and then engineering has their evil ass stats class. Like yess please nerf that shit for me

my uni had a harder stat class for specifically math and cs majors. but not stat majors(???)

it nominally had calc 2 as a prereq but i don’t think we ever used it. it literally just skipped double integrals since multi wasn’t a prereq (even though they’re not even that hard)

i was looking at a post online that had the last seagull and i looked at it and i was like. thats a different gull. its the legs and beaks coloration. and then i looked into it and theyre ALL DIFFERENT GULLS
