drawing might be one of the most boring things I’ve ever done and every time I attempt to learn it, it reminds me why I hate it. it’s comparable to programming but like, without the benefits of programming
that being said clip studio is absolutely fantastic software and I would not have been able to endure doing this for 5 hours straight without it

like in programming there’s at least anticipation of figuring out whether your thing is going to go kaboom and blow itself up, or if you’re actually going to get rewarded with a piece of workable software
with drawing whenever you like, successfully draw a line without fucking it up, all you feel is momentary relief until you have to attempt the next part because the only manifestable thing you get from it is a line being drawn. lmao

okay I’m looking at my drawing and the reference material and if you want an objective, truthful opinion then my drawing is absolutely fucking disasterous
but that makes it entirely iconic especially since like, it’s one of my first drawings, and it’s not actually that bad when you take the facts of the drawer into consideration, which definitely applies when assessing art. you wouldn’t criticise van gogh for not using adobe photoshop techniques, would you

It’s been pretty good. Spent time with my girlfriends yesterday, I’ve been spending time with my wife, we have D&D today, and I’ve been hanging out with other friends. Been fun.
